Training

Strength building and maintenance is an essential component to keeping a runner injury free and race ready.

BPxC2 Summer Strength and Conditioning + USATF Summer Track

Our summer strength and conditioning program meets in Belle Plaine, MN at the BPHS athletic complex Monday and Wednesday nights. We complete a 60 minute strength and conditioning circuit program. Stick around for the optional USATF summer track training intervals specific to your summer running goals in sprints and distance. Then we build technique within your specific track specialties (throwing, triple/long jumps, hurdles, pole vault, high jump)

​All adult and youth participants are eligible to compete in the USATF MN association summer meets held on Tuesday evening throughout the MN metro area.

All youth ages 8-18, who become USATF members, are eligible to compete in the Junior Olympic MN association summer track championships held June 13-16 and have to opportunity to advance to regional and national competition.​ Email bpxc2trackclub@gmail.com for more USATF competition details

Location: Belle Plaine Athletic Complex, 1101 Commerce Drive, Belle Plaine MN

8 week Summer Session:  Mon/Wed June 3-August 1 (No Classes week of 7/1-7/5)

Time: 6-7pm Strength & Conditioning (7pm-8pm optional USATF race training/specialty work)

Cost:    $20 per student (7th grade on up),  $80 per adult

Winter Indoor Track Training

Develop skills in running technique, improve cardiovascular endurance and build muscle specific conditioning while prepping for the indoor and outdoor track season. 

Location: Jordan Community Center 500 Sunset Drive, Jordan MN

2019 Session 1:1/2-3/7 Mon/Thurs 7:30-8:30 pm

(No Classes 2/11-2/15)

Cost: $68

Walk ins welcome: $5 per class, 1/2 session option available

Instructor: Brian Jamison USATF L2 Endurance/Racewalk/Steeplechase specialty

Winter Weight Room Circuit Strength Training

Tuesday's class follows a constant movement Hiit format using a variety of resistance equipment and body weight exercises to burn calorie, strengthen muscles and build cardiovascular strength. Thursday’s class follows a circuit station format focusing on heavy lifting to increase muscle for higher calorie burn and for injury prevention. 

Location: Belle Plaine High School Weight Room

Session 1: 1/1-2/7 Tues/Thurs 6-7pm

Session 2: 2/12-3/21 Tues/Thurs 6-7pm

Cost:    $60 per session or

            $5 walk ins per class

Individualized Race Training (online or in person)

General Race Prep Support $25 per month

Have a race date set and a training plan but would like one on one individualized support?

Regardless of your experience, race distance or race goals, we can help you build your toolbox to meet you goals with private weekly Q & A sessions to address your specific questions regarding your goals and progress towards your goals.

Race Training $75 per month

Your personalized weekly running program includes a breakdown of how the run should be completed, paces for runs, nutrition tips and equipment tips. In addition to private weekly Q & A sessions to address your specific questions regarding your goals, progress towards your goals and if need be, adjustments to your running plan.​

Personal Training $65 per hour

No race plans, but looking to get into shape? Personal training sessions include weekly strength and conditioning program with cardio workouts and strength/circuit workouts as well as Private weekly Q & A sessions to address your specific questions regarding your goals and progress towards your goals.
